1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ChattyBox ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChattyBox is a software-as-a-service platform that allows users to create AI-powered chatbots for their websites. The Service includes:

  • Website content scraping and indexing
  • AI-powered chat responses using retrieved content
  • Embeddable chat widgets
  • Analytics and conversation tracking

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Scrape content you do not have rights to use
  • Create chatbots that spread misinformation or harmful content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, spam, or other malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose

5. Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you scrape and upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service.

Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by ChattyBox and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHATTYBOX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChattyBox from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
